We are looking for a Senior Actuary to join the UK/EU Actuarial Pricing Team of a dynamic insurance organization. This role focuses on evaluating new MGA opportunities, supporting existing MGA partners, and driving profitability through meaningful, data-driven insights. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Underwriting, Distribution, Claims, and Technology teams to deliver exceptional actuarial support.

Key Responsibilities
- MGA Opportunity Evaluation
- Assess and price new MGA opportunities to ensure they align with profitability targets.
- Develop rate-level recommendations and rating algorithm changes to meet financial goals.
- Actuarial Support for Existing MGAs
- Work closely with current MGA partners to maintain profitability.
- Address any actuarial needs, including performance analysis and strategy support.
- Innovation and Process Improvement
- Think creatively about scaling actuarial support for MGA partners.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to provide proactive recommendations.
- Collaboration Across Teams
- Build effective relationships with Underwriting, Distribution, Claims, and Technology teams.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Credentials
- Associate or Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) or equivalent.
- Actuarial Experience
- 5-10 years of actuarial experience in P&C insurance; commercial lines pricing preferred (personal lines backgrounds considered).
- Exposure to a variety of P&C commercial lines insurance products.
- Technical Skills
- Strong analytical and modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Python, R, Excel, and other industry-standard software.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Ability to explain complex analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
