Overview:
This role involves contributing to the Delegated Authority (DA) Pricing team, supporting various MGA and DA products. The position requires analytical expertise, technical skills, and a collaborative approach to improve pricing strategies and portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Analysis: Work with diverse datasets to deliver high-quality pricing analyses that support partners and enhance pricing quality.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Develop and manage data dashboards and portfolio monitoring tools to forecast and communicate performance trends effectively to stakeholders.
- New Business Assessment: Collaborate with other teams to evaluate potential new DA portfolios and support a thorough onboarding process for approved deals.
- Process Improvement: Innovate and optimize systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement are embedded in standard practices.
Qualifications:
- Progress towards or completion of Actuarial qualifications is preferred.
Experience & Skills:
- Background in General Insurance Actuarial roles, ideally with experience in delegated authority business.
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities with advanced technical skills and financial acumen.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics, risk, and business operations.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, SQL, R, and Power BI.
