This role focuses on pricing, modeling, and analytics for Management Liability and Professional Liability products, driving profitability and growth through innovative tools and insights. As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate closely with underwriting and claims teams, influencing strategic decisions and delivering measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and communicate pricing studies for Management Liability and Professional Liability product lines.
  • Develop and maintain advanced models for pricing, claims monitoring, and other business functions.
  • Partner with underwriting teams to analyze market trends, portfolio shifts, and opportunities for profitable growth, supporting the development of impactful underwriting strategies.
  • Collaborate with claims teams to assess claim trends, judicial environment changes, and emerging issues.
  • Elevate analytics capabilities by introducing advanced methodologies, including ranges of reasonability, sensitivity testing, and portfolio optimization.
  • Monitor loss trends, track industry and regulatory changes, and present findings to senior management.
  • Support the annual planning process by providing detailed analytics and projections.
  • Ensure compliance with model validation and documentation standards.

What You Bring

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Progressing toward ACAS certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial roles; familiarity with Management Liability or Professional Liability preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and R is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
