We are seeking a qualified actuary to join our Insurance Pricing team, focused on delivering Savings and Retirement (S&R) solutions to clients across global markets. This role involves supporting tender activities and providing ongoing technical and pricing expertise, contributing directly to the success of the Pension Risk Transfer, Individual Retirement, and Savings for Retirement product lines.

The position will be based in our London office, offering an excellent opportunity for career development and visibility with senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Quotation Delivery:
    • Support the delivery of S&R quotes, analyzing data to determine trends and set technical pricing assumptions.
    • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders across the business.
  • Pricing Development and Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the Client Solutions team to develop innovative solutions that address client needs and support market growth.
    • Ensure industry trends and pricing developments are incorporated into the S&R business model.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Present high-quality pricing analysis to internal governance committees, gaining visibility with senior leadership, including the COO and CEO.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting new business acquisition and promoting the company brand.
  • Process Improvement and Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams on strategic projects, such as improving pricing processes and assessing new rating factors.
    • Collaborate with R&D and Deal Pricing teams to enhance pricing sophistication and deliver tailored client solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified actuary with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Possess strong technical expertise in (re)insurance, consultancy, or statistical pricing.
  • Have a deep understanding of the insurance market and related pricing methodologies.
  • Demonstrate a highly analytical mindset, with a background in experience analysis—experience in alternative markets such as general insurance is also welcome.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
