About the Role

Are you passionate about leveraging analytical expertise to enhance pricing capabilities? We’re seeking a talented Pricing Actuary to support underwriting product owners in delivering innovative pricing solutions. This role focuses on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of analytical products such as pricing models, with a strong emphasis on Python.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work across multiple functions to ensure pricing algorithms are robust, effective, and add real value to the risk selection process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support underwriting product owners by implementing and improving pricing models and analytical tools using Python.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, data engineering, and other teams to develop and refine pricing algorithms across multiple classes.
• Ensure pricing models align with business goals and deliver meaningful insights for risk assessment.
• Communicate key findings, insights, and recommendations from pricing algorithm reviews, addressing uncertainties and limitations to stakeholders across the business.
• Apply expert knowledge of general insurance pricing to deliver practical, creative solutions to complex challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified actuary with significant experience in general insurance pricing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and an ability to develop and implement advanced pricing models.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
