Responsibilities

  • Provide actuarial and analytical expertise to support global Credit Lines operations, ensuring profitable growth and proactive adjustments.
  • Develop and enhance technical pricing tools and rating models, with a strong focus on Python-based solutions.
  • Conduct granular performance analyses to enable underwriters to optimise results.
  • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, such as rater development and performance monitoring systems.
  • Coordinate with actuarial teams to implement robust pricing models and enforce global consistency in practices.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for pricing and performance monitoring.
  • Drive profitability analyses, business planning, and strategy development.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, risk management policies, and decision-making frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of actuarial pricing experience in general insurance.
  • Proficiency in Python and strong coding skills; familiarity with other tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
