Reserving Actuary

Client: Large Mutual business

Main Responsibilities:

A mutual business is looking for an actuary with General Insurance experience to join their team. Reporting to the Model Risk Manager you will help in the 2nd line defence within risk management. The role will involve model review and validation within various areas in general insurance including the internal capital model, pricing and reserving models. The role will be provide variety in terms of working in actuarial and risk management in reviewing models within capital, pricing and reserving

Requirements:

• Knowledge of general insurance industry and regulatory environment
• Ability to conduct analysis, review and validation of capital, pricing and/or reserving models
• Experience in at least 2 of the following:
• Capital modelling and validation
• Product pricing
• Reserving
• Good communication skills
