Reserving Actuary

Role:

A global brand leading insurer is looking for a qualified actuary with reserving experience to join their London market business unit. Working in a specialised team you will have direct reports and work across 3 entities within the Group Structure – Syndicate, Reinsurance and Special Risk carriers. You will manage and support direct reports as well as the wider reserving team, delegating work and advising on actuarial best practice. You’ll be responsible for the production of Solvency II technical provisions and be the key point of contact on reserving issues for the senior stakeholders

Requirements:

• Qualified actuary with strong general insurance experience
• Deep reserving analysis experience
• Strong Solvency II knowledge/experience
• People Management experience
• Senior stakeholder management skills
• Project management skills
