Key Responsibilities
Strategic Contributions
- Take a lead role in the execution of strategic initiatives and projects.

- Participate in cross-unit, regional, and enterprise-wide initiatives to drive business growth.
Operational Excellence
- Perform actuarial and analytical analyses independently to address business challenges.
- Support and lead components of unit initiatives and contribute to broader department objectives.
- Propose and implement process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with teams across Europe and the enterprise to provide actuarial expertise.
Communication and Reporting
- Communicate complex analyses and project outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to discussions and provide insights to enhance decision-making at the unit level.
- Prepare detailed reports, memos, and presentations with guidance and peer review.
- Actively network and share ideas with colleagues and partners.
Talent Development
- Mentor and develop less experienced team members, supporting their professional growth.
- Play a role in onboarding new employees and interns, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Contribute to training and development initiatives across segments and the enterprise.
Relationship Building
- Build and maintain professional relationships within the BI&AA community and the broader organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align expectations and generate actionable ideas.
- Manage and resolve conflicts with guidance to foster a positive work environment.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications and Skills
- Progressing toward actuarial qualification or recently qualified.
- University degree in a STEM-related field.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming experience (e.g., SQL, SAS).
- Solid understanding of insurance products, industry trends, and actuarial methods.
Leadership Skills
- Proficient in self-leadership, with a developing ability to mentor and lead others.
- Support business goals actively and contribute to fostering a positive organizational culture.
Business Acumen
- Knowledge of key business drivers such as underwriting, reinsurance, operations, and risk control.
- Awareness of emerging industry trends, including technology and analytics.
Analytical Expertise
- Skilled in actuarial and quantitative analysis, with a strong grasp of statistical concepts.
- Able to perform complex analyses independently and plan subsequent steps effectively.
