About the Role

As part of a dedicated technical pricing team, you will influence underwriting profitability by developing robust pricing models, mentoring team members, and improving processes to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with underwriters and the technical pricing team.
  • Develop, deploy, and refine pricing models aligned with compliance frameworks.
  • Analyze data to create accurate technical pricing models supporting underwriting decisions.
  • Support case pricing, renewal monitoring, and business planning.
  • Prepare governance reports for senior management and committees.
  • Collaborate across functions to integrate catastrophe modeling and drive process improvements.
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering professional growth.

What You’ll Need

Core Skills

  • Significant actuarial pricing experience in insurance markets, particularly London and Lloyd’s.
  • Expertise in actuarial modeling, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in catastrophe modeling integration for pricing.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.

Advantageous Skills

  • Actuarial qualifications or equivalent certifications.
  • Programming experience in SQL, Python, or VBA.
  • Background in a numerical discipline like Mathematics.
