       Role purpose:

This is an opportunity to join one of the best insurance firms operating on the Lloyd’s market. As a validation analyst, you will actively contribute to the Risk Management team by delivering model validation which meets both internal and external standards.
You will have exposure to all key business areas in the Group, with a focus on the Lloyd’s side of things which make this role unique amongst traditional student actuary roles.

Key Criteria:

 

  • Experience with capital or risk modelling
  • Solid accounting, actuarial, or risk management
  • Good understanding of risk concepts and quantification techniques
  • Significant progress toward the actuarial exams
  • Experience dealing with regulatory requirements and related reporting
  • Highly organised and efficient, with ability to plan and focus
  • Strong ability to work on several projects at once
  • Able to put forward constructive challenge to senior colleagues in a confident, credible, collaborative and non-contentious manner
