Reserving Manager

Role purpose:
An exciting new opportunity has come about for a Reserving Manager to join an established London market insurer.
The role will involve a number of reserving tasks and stakeholder management responsibilities, as well as the management of a small team.
Specifically, you will take on tasks such as delivering half year and year end reserving processes, analysing and communicating key issues, results and trends to stakeholders, liaising with teams across the business, including Underwriting, Finance, and Claims, managing and mentoring analysts in your team and ultimately contributing to and shaping the team vision and strategy.

Key Criteria:

• Qualified Actuary with General Insurance background
• Strong Reserving skills
• London Market or Commercial Lines experience
• People management experience
• Strong planning and time management of both own and direct team’s work
