Commercial Lines Pricing Analyst

Role purpose:

A highly varied and stimulating opportunity has come about for a part qualified actuary with commercial lines experience to join an established global brand. This role will involve technical pricing work as well as liaising with key stakeholders in the business, allowing you to draw on your actuarial as well as communication skills. Specifically, you will take on tasks such as building a technical pricing framework, finding imaginative solutions to enhance the client’s pricing offering, delivering thorough analysis and recommendations on rate changes, and supporting key stakeholders across the business in situations requiring actuarial insight.

This role will not only give you the opportunity to strengthen your technical skills considerably as you progress towards Fellowship, but let you take real ownership of your work and gain valuable commercial exposure when working with industry leading experts and stakeholders.

The client is open to tailoring the salary package to your skills and experience and offers the role in London or Ipswich, depending on your preference.

Key Criteria:

• Part Qualified Actuary
• Experience of leading small projects
• Experience working with actuarial software from Towers Watson pricing suite
• Good understanding of SAS
• Knowledge of R or Python will be an advantage
