Actuary – With Profits

Role purpose:

An exceptional opportunity has come about for a skilled Life actuary to join a market leading organisation. The role will involve a range of responsibilities and comes with a high level of personal responsibility and influence. Specifically, you will advise and challenge stakeholders and review risks for the With Profits business as part of the client’s risk function, ensuring the delivery of customers’ long term interests.
You will draw on your technical expertise and provide valuable insight and analysis, while simultaneously showing exceptional leadership as you interact with senior stakeholders across the business and resolve potential conflicts of interest.
This role has the option of being based in either London or Edinburgh.

Key Criteria:

• Qualified Actuary
• Experience in operating a With-Profits fund, including investment strategy, capital management, and financial reporting
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Stakeholder management experience
• Able to communicate complex issues to a range of audiences
